Weve seen a few showers in the bay this morning and still some lingering snow up in the Sierra Nevada. Our activity is definitely on the decline, though. So sort of activity you see this morning. Is that really going to stick around much today . We do have some light showers around oakland on up to concord at this moment, but nothing that should be slowing. You down too much. Winter storm warning for the sierra has been extended through tomorrow, leaving people stranded near tahoe. One point this morning there was nowhere in or out coming from the west. And closing highway 50. There are chain controls. The city of South Lake Tahoe says very low visibility. So theyre asking people to stay off the road. I80 is still closed. This is what it looks like near donors summit. Right now caltrans says they hope to reenter the interstate tomorrow. And four sheriffs deputies are hurt after a shootout and chase near santa rosa. Crime reporter henry lee is live at the scene with the latest details. Henry yeah, still very much an active scene just outside Santa Rosa City limits. Take a look behind me as we push in. You can see a white suspect vehicle thats crashed. We are on stony point road near butler avenue. Now. Santa rosa police are here investigating this deadly shootout involving Sonoma County sheriffs deputies and a man with a high powered rifle that show you some video from earlier. Now, it all began just after midnight when Sonoma County sheriffs deputies responded to reports of a man brandishing a rifle at a restaurant at stony point and todd road that doubles as a nightclub at night. But ive got to bring you back in time now to demonstrate why the National Weather Service Extended the blizzard warning. Before i showed you the maps, let me just show you and let you hear why they were suppose to do that. This is from palisades. It gets dramatic as you watch this. Probably 70 miles an hour winds. Thats the chair lift. And they just shared this earlier today. By the way, palisades, one of the places higher up, reporting 190 miles an hour wind gusts from
