These are the four people who were killed May 4 when an airplane flown by 67-year-old Dr. Louis Provenza crashed into the home of 55-year-old Gerry Standley. Also on board the plane were 23-year-old Anna Calhoun and her daughter, Harper Provenza.

Around 3 p.m., Petal police responded to the call near Moore Funeral Home. According to reports, a vehicle pulled out in front of the first bus, prompting the driver to slam on the brakes. The second bus, behind the first one, was not able to stop in time, causing the two buses to collide.

(WDAM) - Authorities in Forrest County managed to arrest two men on felony charges after being caught stealing items from a citizen’s property Sunday. According to the Forrest County Sheriff’s Office, just before noon, a citizen who lives on Luther Carter Road looked at his home security cameras recording evidence of two men stealing items from his property and leaving in a white pickup truck pulling a utility trailer.
