His granddaughter reported him missing and ultimately found him in his apartment hidden beneath a pile of linens and blankets. Update. Detectives are still piecing together the bizarre murder of a 69yearold man from san jose. Stanley jacobson was found stabbed to death in his home at the Hilltop Manor senior apartments this week. He was hidden beneath a pile of linens and blankets. Jacobsons body had apparently been there for an entire month despite visits from several people, including the missing persons unit from the San Jose Police department. In viewing the photo, its fairly obvious that any normal reasonable person would have done a cursory search as they are basically required to do. And not many people, if any would have found this body. It was underneath a lot of clutter. Officers have arrested 46yearold Regina Butler in connection with his death.
