The Japanese Firm seeks to bolster its Global Economic reporting through the acquisition. It also intends to use the ft groups Customer Base to strengthen its digital operations. Nikkeis chairman tsuneo kita said hes excited about pairing up with the Financial Times. He said both firms share economic values.
