A woman was killed in a car vs. train accident by Perham s City Hall and Tuffy s at 3:25 p.m. on Jan. 24, a Perham Police Department report said.
The 27-year-old woman was driving south down Perham s Second Avenue Northeast when her vehicle was struck by a train crossing the tracks.
The woman was the only occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by Perham Emergency Services.

Charlie Olson was one of three people inducted into the Perham Hall of Fame. Charlie worked in the city for many years as an electrician, and in recent years has been especially busy with the East Otter Tail Historical Society. He also built a 1/3 scale steam engine, which he showcases at events all around the region. Jane Aschnewitz presented a summary of Charlie s involvement. Perham City Council approves use of alleyway for drive-thru coffee business

Perham’s Main Street as the shop could be getting a new coffee shop with a drive-thru window in the building that currently houses Boedy Appliance, 200 W Main St.
Tick Tock Coffee is looking at buying the Boedy Appliance building and adding a drive-thru window to the back of the building.
