TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Florida State track and field program will be competing at the South Florida Invitational in Tampa, Fla., this Friday. The meet is split over two days with the men competing on Friday and the women competing on Saturday, but the Noles will just be sending a select group of men to compete on Friday. The men's sprinters, Jacore Irving, Jeremiah Davis and Nick Napier will all be competing on Friday. The Noles added this meet to the schedule on Tuesday after weather altered their plans last weekend at the Pepsi Florida Relays. The Noles competed on Friday but only three athletes were able to compete on Saturday before a six hour rain delay. The Noles did not compete following the delay. The biggest group heading down to Tampa will be the men's sprints group. Amir Willis has led that group so far this season with three great performances to start the outdoor season.
