PEORIA, Ill. The Peoria Township Supervisor’s race from the February 23 primary has been certified, with the challenger just two votes ahead of the incumbent.
Final results were confirmed on Thursday showing LaTrina Leary defeated Frank Abdnour to be the Democratic nominee for supervisor, with Leary getting 3,130 votes and Abdnour receiving 3,128. On election night, Leary led by just one vote.
There’s no Republican running for supervisor, so Leary will run unopposed in the April 6 general election.
