We do not have the confirmation on that, waiting for it, but there is light rain left over in Cape May County, sliding up to Atlantic City now and ocean county and lighter rain. The heaviest of it is now offshore. The most severe thunderstorms have now moved out of the area, but we also have more back off to the west. Now, this is still pretty far off to the west. What you see right where im circling, just west of washington, watching this area as we go through the rest of the evening because some models are, in fact, picking up on this trying to move it through parts of delaware and south jersey tonight. A first alert is out for pennsylvania, new jersey and delaware. That Severe Threat has been extended through the entire area today. This is mostly going to hit in the afternoon and evening. If youre starting your fourth of july early, keep an eye to the sky, take the umbrella with you and stay tune. Well be tracking all the storms for you. Strong to severe thunderstorms in the forecast with any severe storms we could see damaging winds, heavy rain, lightning and hail. All of those things could be causing problems later on today.
