At your traffic. Good morning. Well, hope you liked yesterday and i think if you did youre going to like today pretty well its a similar day. You you see a lack of a whole lot of cloud cover out there once again this morning. Temperatures are cool and comfortable in most neighborhoods. 64 degrees in philadelphia, mid50s up in allentown, upper 50s in trenton and reading. 56 millville, 70 cape may. The dewpoints are creeping up a little bit today. But that 61 is nothing to worry about. Still not going to be all that humid. As we roll through the day 62 by 7 oclock, 71 degrees by 10 oclock and your 12 hour forecast shows an afternoon in the 80s with a high of 85 degrees probably right around 3 oclock this afternoon before we slip all the way back to about 80 by dinnertime. Things heat up a little bit more tomorrow though karen. Ill have that story and some more nice stuff after that in the exclusive accuweather 7day forecast. What do you got this morning. Well be talking a lot about presi
Bit less humid to day. After agonizing over the number like i do every day i went with a nine because we dont have too many warm days lefty guess once you see the end of august looming. Anyway, nine, one on, we will make it to 89. We will see what happens. I can tell you there is no precipitation on ultimate doppler radar. That is a a good thing i think for most of us, this morning. We have temperatures, in the city, of 74 degrees. Look at relative humidity. 57 percent. So, 74 sure feels a lot different when it is not that muggy. Northeasterly wind at 7 miles an hour and 6 27 our sunrise time. There is another look at the wind. They have changed direction with the weak disturbance that came through with some cloud yesterday in the afternoon so with a northeasterly win we will get slightly dryer, and, we did that is well above, high of 84 and it will be a close call, could be 89 or 90. If we get to 90, we will extend the heat wave, it is a five day heat wave. Not as humid, that is it We
Things get a lot better on thursday. Great. Its been that kind of summer. Well be back into the 70s. No getting hot and bothered. Thanks for the explanation on that. Lets go outside live. Seeing traffic move on Spring Garden street by the art museum. No problems yet but we have 30 minutes until we start to see those restrictions begin all around eakins oval and then by 9 oclock the entire area shuts down. Katherine scott has been live on the scene and well be talking about this through the morning and kind of help you through it. In the meantime what you can expect is you might want to take ridge avenue or broad street or the schuylkill instead of using the river drives and the ben franklin parkway. Lots of closures with president obamas visit coming today. Lets look outside live, vine street expressway all reopened after the overnight construction so no problems here. Crews will return again tonight at 11 oclock. Theyll shut it down in both directions so well be looking for tonight. H
