NORTHEAST
Coulter Mackesy, Brunswick School (Conn.)
In a pick-your-poison stacked Brunswick School attack, Mackesy has been particularly venomous in the first six games of the season. The Princeton-bound senior has 19 goals and seven assists in six consecutive victories for the national powerhouse. But it’s more than just a numbers game for Mackesy it’s how he’s finding his offense that impresses Brunswick School coach David Bruce.

NORTHEAST
Maddigan Leifer, St. Joseph Trumbull (Conn.)
The junior midfielder tallied seven goals, eight assists, 10 draw controls, seven ground balls and six caused turnovers in the first three games of her season last week. Leifer also scored the overtime winner in an 11-10 victory over crosstown rival Trumbull High on Saturday.

The Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas were ranked No. 17 in the Week 3 IL Top 25 High School Power Rankings and open their season last Saturday with a 14-6 win at Penn Charter (Pa.). They open conference play on Thursday at No. 4 Bullis (Md.).
Past
It’s hard to believe that Scott Urick is in his fifth season since taking over as the Little Hoyas’ head coach, but there was meaningful progress from 2018 to 2019 and wins over St. Mary’s Annapolis (Md.) and Gilman (Md.) early in 2020 offered promise. The most meaningful changes since its pinnacle have occurred around the program, particularly Bullis’ emergence as a national title contender and SSSA (Va.) bolstering its program.

The junior UNC commit had four goals, one assist, one ground ball and five draw controls in an 11-10 overtime win over Agnes Irwin (Pa.) on Wednesday, then added five goals, two assists and five draw controls in a 17-7 win over Manheim Central (Pa.). The wins helped Penn Charter improve to 4-0 going into a huge week with games against Springside Ch
