The Greenfield Tennis Association (GTA) will sponsor a fundraising, special day of doubles tennis on June 19.
All proceeds will go toward the continued maintenance of the clay courts in Greenfield. Men, women, juniors and seniors of all levels are welcome to play in this fun, single-day event. You will enter as a single person; your doubles partner will be selected randomly and will change throughout the event with each round. The event will take place on the very clay courts the GTA is striving to preserve for the community – Beacon Field and Highland Park.

Registration for Franklin County Youth Football and Franklin County Youth Cheer is underway.
For football, athletes can register for the Peewee Division (grades 3-4), Junior Division (grades 5-6) and senior division (grades 7-8). For cheer, athletes can register for Peewee Cheer (grades K-2), Junior Cheer (grades 3-5) and Senior Cheer (grades 6-8).

Grace Laurie retired six batters while Autumn Thornton struck out two and added a single as Pipione’s Sport Shop defeated Pelletier Electric, 11-10, in a Greenfield Girls Softball League Ponytail Division contest on Thursday.
Carson Farrell, Max Luippold and Addison Talbot played well in the field in the win for Pipione’s.
Emmy Nash and Jacelyn Boliski each struck out three batters for Pelletier. Cayleigh Aldrich had two hits and drove in four runs while Leah Potter also had two hits in the loss.
