Collision. I think the Police Department violated the california constitution and california law. I think they violated federal law in executing these search warrants. This is a huge deal. The investigator did not tell the judge hes a journalist and had a press pass for 16 years. They listed him as freelance videographer, communications manager, uso bay area and wrote he is not currently employed by any of the news organizations that obtained the Death Investigation report. I would say its absolutely clear that the department should have known that brian carmod kbrrks is a journalist and stretches credibility they had no idea. Bill scott declined my request for an interview today but i questioned him at a News Conference in may. How can you defend a raid on a journalists home and office . Im not im not here to try to defend it because there is a lot of information that we have to really look at and refle reflect. His staff says the Police Department is reviewing protocols on members of
[no audio] [no audio] officers were called to monterey road in south san jose to do a welfare check. They located the suspect near southlake drive. Officers made contact with them and thats when the shooting occurred. He suffered one gunshot wound. Its unknown what led up to the gunfire and how the suspect was being threatening. Crime scene investigators spent the night gathering evidence and police are telling us as soon as the preliminary investigation is complete, they are gonna have more information that they will release. The shooting is the 9th officer involved shooting of the year. Thats up last year when they were five total. When the last one happened, Community Members are questioning why have their been so many and it prompted them to figure out how they handle situations when there is a threat. Dave . Thank you. You can see in trenton only a mile visibility and in many of our suburbs where you see the white, that is reduced visibility. Even in places like bucks county quakertown, only a half mile visibility at this hour. Now, on storm scan3 were looking at a line of showers and thunderstorms that are moving in from the west, moving through Lancaster County heading into berks county. Also into Chester County. A lot of this heavy rain moving eastward and a few rumbles of thunder. Now we have some drier air thats trying to block this from moving in but i still think some showers will move in overnight. You can see some 50s through allentown, through trenton, 61 in philadelphia. The drier air pushing in from the ocean. That marine layer keeping it stable with those easterly winds trying to block.
