We are actually in the normandy landings gallery. Its a very special gallery for us here. Our museum was originally founded in the 1990s as the National Dday museum by a congressional charter. We were charged with telling the story of the entire American Experience in world war ii. In this gallery we get to the big moment where United States and allies had to win this particular day. Classes have been canceled at the tallahassee, florida campus after the shooting. Nick giovanni is live in our newsroom with the the latest on what we know. Reporter fsus president John Thrasher just released a statement saying right now the school is trying to make sense of what is a senseless incident. It all happened just after midnight in and around the universitys library. At the time it was still packed with students and employees as you can see from some of the picks insides the library taken after the shooting. At least three people were wounded before police came across the gunman near the Library Entrance. They ordered him to drop his weapon. The state water board has been deluged with letters and emails like this one complaining about the city by city mandated goals from 20 to 35 . Morgan hills expected to drop its usage by 35 and its hoping a change in the formula will reduce it by at least 10 . But in the meantime it is facing the toughest cutback in all of santa clara county. Morgan hill residents already have achieved a 29 reduction in water use. Outdoor watering is restricted to twice a week and only at night. The state water board is demanding oort 14 cut and residents are scratching their heads over how to achieve that. What more can you do . Im not quite sure. I know a lot of people will be putting buckets in their showers and collecting it that way and watering the plants. Maybe were coming into summer but maybe cutting back on gardening.
