Reporter fsus president John Thrasher just released a statement saying right now the school is trying to make sense of what is a senseless incident. It all happened just after midnight in and around the universitys library. At the time it was still packed with students and employees as you can see from some of the picks insides the library taken after the shooting. At least three people were wounded before police came across the gunman near the Library Entrance. They ordered him to drop his weapon. He instead fired a shot at the officers so they returned fire killing the shooter. The campus was placed on lockdown as all this was transpiring. That has since been lifted and an all clear tweeted out by the university. The victims were taken to the hospital, one said to be in Critical Condition and another in stable. We just learned that two of the schools that we thought were originally affected, Suitland High School and drew freeman middle school, those schools still have water so students, get up, get ready. You will be going to school today. Gerry irvine with wssc is here to tell us about the progress crews have made just in regards to the good news. We thought we would have to go much farther away to get the water out of the hole and make repairs. Good and bad news for the kids. They will be at school. Reporter this is still a mess. It will be a comp kayed complicated job because its next to a gas line. Its not super deep but deep enough. Its a lot of digging but youre right, theres a gas main that runs next to it and a service line that runs across the hole there. It does complicate things a little bit. Its not take unusual but you have to be very careful. You dont want to break a gas line. Reporter how many folks do we have affected . Youre not too certain but a lot less than we originally reported. We originally thought 150. Were still looking at the exact number but its a much lower percentage. That is the good news. A nurse in our region is accused of sexually abusing several women while they were being treated at three different hospitals. Nikki burdine joins us with more on who this nurse is and who he is facing right now. Reporter thats right. Disturbing allegations against this traveling nurse who police say has worked at at least three different hospitals and they fear even more victims may come forward. The three hospitals where the alleged abuse happened are United Medical center, George Washington university hospital, and med star Washington Hospital. The 37yearold man is from falls church and is now being electronically monitored by police to make sure he stays put in the area. According to court documents, they say the victims say kline groped them, kissed them and forced them to touch his genitals. One woman says she also received unwanted Text Messages from him. Theres also a warrant out for his arrest on Sexual Assault related charges at a Prince Georges County Medical Center. Police fear there may be more incidents just like this one out there and ask that anyone with information come forward. Thank you, nikki. Another security scare near the white house. A 41yearold man from iowa is in custody after he was arrested near the executive mansion carrying a 3 rifle. He carrying a 33 rifle. He also had ammunition in his car. The incident may have ended without any harm but the agents has agency has had some well publicized incidents in the past. It allows former nazis to get Social Security payments after being forced to leave the United States. Two bills have been introduced to try to close that loophole. The bills are in response to that Associated Press investigation which found that millions of dollars, your tax dollars, have been paid to dozens of former nazis who migrated to the United States after world war ii and then became u. New safety ratings reveal a hidden danger in certain types of minivan crashes and they could have potentially devastating effects. Wendy gillette now with more. Now the latest on our breaking news from Florida State university. The good news, the campus in tallahassee is now secure. Around 12 30 this morning, three people were shut at the universitys main library. They were rushed to nearby hospitals. One of them is said to be in Critical Condition right now. Campus Police Caught up with the suspect not far from the Library Entrance and they shot and killed him when he fired at officers. In the last 20 minutes, police have said they believe the gunman was the only suspect and that there are no other threats now. These near freezing temperatures are only going to complicate a water main break in the suitland section of Prince Georges County. Right now silver hill road at brooks drive and royal plaza drive is shut down. There is some good news, though. We originally thought there was a possibility of two schools could close because they didnt have water service. That is changed. Its time to get up and go to school. Reporter good news and maybe bad news for those kids, but suitland here, silver hill road here in suitland, northbound lanes shut down to traffic as you said between royal plaza drive and brooks drive. The two schools that are still in session, they still have water. Were talking about Suitland High School and of course drew freeman middle school. But take a look. This section of silver hill road is certainly a mess. Look at all this debris. This is a 15inch water main that broke last night. Crews have drained the water and are beginning to make repairs but this is going to be an all day situation and well definitely and it definitely will affect the morning commute. The commute well under way. But listen, this is a tricky situation because this water main is right next to a gas line so crews really have to be very careful when they get in in order to not touch that gas main. Essentially it runs right through this area. We have about a hundred or so customers that are affected, not as many as we first thought because of the two schools that still have water but folks are still out of water in this area. I cant give you an exact number but this traffic nightmare is going to be here for a while. Its going to take a long time for crews to get this wrapped up and under way. Thanks a lot, delia, live in suitland this morning. Charges have been filed against two teenagers involved in a fight last friday at Suitland High School right there where delia is. Wusa9 received some cell phone footage of that fight. The footage is grainy but you can make it out where you see a teenage girl getting brutally attacked. The victims mother said her daughters boyfriend, 16year old dray quan yates stepped in to protect her and then he was beaten unconscious. Yates is at home following several days in the hospital and surgery on his jaw. A local nurse is facing charges this morning. He is accused of sexually assaulting some of his patients. Nikki burdine is here with more on some of the disturbing details. Reporter the man is 37year old jared kline, a traveling nurse. The alleged incidents happened at three different area hospitals with different women. Kline is from falls church. The alleged abuse happened at three different hospitals. Those are United Medical center, George Washington university hospital, and at med star Washington Hospital center. Youtube service will include video. For ten bucks a month users can buy their way out of having to watch ads before the videos. Two other features also designed with mobile users in mind. It can play even when youre in the plane or in a metro where the connectivity is weak. The second is a lot of times people are playing the music video and also doing other things on the device. So we wanted to be able to do that which is what the background allows you to do. Right now the music key is an invite only beta program. It will first roll out in the u. S.
