PECOS COUNTY, Texas The Pecos Youth Advisory Commission will be selling candy grams and treat boxes for Valentine s Day.
They are running this fundraiser to help fun their community service projects.
You can send a treat box to your valentine for $7. You can add a bear to the box for $5.
In the treat box, there will be a Big Red soda, Ring Pop, Hot Cheetos, Hershey Kisses, and Rice Crispy Treat.
You can order your boxes by contacting the students involved in the organization.
The Order will be delivered to Pecos High School for PHS students/faculty. Other orders in the Pecos area will be delivered on February 12 between 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Coach Arrested for Inappropriate Relationship With Student
PECOS, TX A middle school teacher and coach has been arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
According to the Pecos-Barstow-Toyah I.S.D, the teacher has been identified as William Smith.
Smith was a 7th Grade Social Studies teacher at Crockett Middle School and coached at Pecos High School.
The school district confirmed Smith was placed on leave after the district received information about an inappropriate relationship and was fired after the investigation was completed.
