A man seriously wounded a teenage girl in 2019 after firing a gun at a car in East El Paso.
The El Paso Police Department needs help to identify the suspect involved in the Crime Stoppers of El Paso s Crime of the Week.
At 11:10 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2019, two teens and a 21-year-old were driving in a white Audi car northbound on George Dieter Drive. The three came to a stop at the intersection of Pebble Hills Boulevard due to a traffic signal.
A man driving a truck on the turning lane began to exchange words with the teen. The man pulled out a handgun, and the teen driver entered the intersection to flee from the man. As the three drove away, the suspect fired the gun multiple times at the car.
Police are investigating the death of a man after his body was found in East El Paso.
The body was found Friday morning at Skipper and Red Sails drives near Pebble Hills Boulevard, El Paso Police Department officials said.
The department’s Crimes Against Persons unit is investigating the case.
No foul play is suspected, officials said.

Albertsons opens largest El Paso store, donates $200,000 to charity
EL PASO, Texas What is now the largest Albertsons grocery store in El Paso became the first new location to open in two decades on Wednesday.
As part of a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony for the store at 3150 N. Zaragoza Road and Pebble Hills Boulevard, the Albertsons Foundation donated over $200,000 to local schools and non-profit groups.
Some of the recipients included:
El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation - $50,000
UMC Foundation - $110,000
El Paso Baptist Clinic - $50,000
El Pasoans Fighting Hunger - $50,000
El Dorado High School - $2,000
Pebble Hills High School - $2,000
