Lexington near exit 31 its rear driver side wheel somehow came off and went flying over the jersey barrier into the northbound side of the highway hitting the driver of this toyota camry. The front part of the car and windshield seem to be the point of impact. The driver a man was killed. Pickup was stopped in the highway several hundred yards past where the tire flew off. State police have the vehicle surrounded. The crash brings to mind a similar one that happened almost two years ago to the date also on 128 if you exit up the highway in burlington. In that case a truck dropped a mattress in the middle of 128 and the debris spark a chain of events that led to a womans death. That driver didnt stop.
