Srinagar: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police will interrogate the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Waheed Parra in connection with their investigations into the alleged links of unnamed J&K politicians with Pakistan and militants, officials said.
The CIK had last year filed an FIR (31/2020) at Srinagarâs Shergari police station in connection with âmilitancy casesâ in Jammu and Kashmir. âIt is an open FIR,â said a senior police officer, who asked not to be named.

New Delhi: A special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Srinagar rejected the bail application of PDP leader Waheed Parra on Tuesday, saying if a balance is to be struck between the personal liberty of a person accused of “heinous” crimes and the security of the state, it is the latter that prevails.
