Aligarh Muslim University: Orientation programme held for interns

Share Aligarh: Despite serious impediments caused by the COVID pandemic, the academic activities at the Aligarh Muslim University are being carried out through online mode to provide educational opportunities to its students. The Medical Education Unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College organized an online orientation programme for 2016 MBBS Batch interns. Addressing the inaugural session, AMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Tariq Mansoor emphasized the importance of conduct and behaviour for an intern as these qualities make medical profession the noblest of all professions. He advised interns to make good use of internship t and congratulated them on their successful completion of the course. The Vice-Chancellor also released the Log Book for a compulsory rotating internship as per the competency based undergraduate curriculum, introduced this year by the National Medical Commission and adopted by the JNMC.
