Jim, a lot of long lines and crowds we saw at the airport and train station have thinned out. People are still on the roads trying to get to their loved ones in time for the holidays. We are on the way to north carolina. We are from connecticut. We left new haven around 1 00 this afternoon. We are making pretty good time. We should reach our destination in about five more hours. They are part of 51,000,000 americans traveling 50miles or more this thanksgiving holiday. 94 of us are traveling by car.

The owners of a santa rosa restaurant open their doors and their hearts to host a special thanksgiving meal. Good evening. Im kristen sze in for ama daetz. And im dan ashley. Hundreds from last months north bay fires have a place to go to celebrate thanksgiving. Thats right. Fr franchettis restaurant. Lilian kim tells you that the owners say it will be a place where fire victims can find comfort by being together. Workers at franchettis are preparing holiday favorites. 1600 pounds of turkey to be exact with all the beloved side dishes. I can feel like we can help those people and were going to be throwing a great party tomorrow. Gesina and john have planned for 600 meals, all for fire victims and first responders. They received donations to cover most of the costs. And when it was time to take reservations, they didnt realize
