there was a pullout last week that the president s margin of young voters has gone 66-32 in 2008 down to just one point, 50-37 in mitt romney. young people are realizing their lives are not better off four years later. they re saying we want a president who s going to fix these problems not make them worse for our generation. you have the paul ryan budget plan, which would cut pell grants, he s offered nothing in the way of a health care reform plan, to help young people get health insurance, what does mitt romney have to offer here to young people? the number one issue is jobs and the economy. and the president is also focusing jobs and the economy. both candidates have made that a priority. we have been focusing on jobs and the economy for the last 3 1/2 years. this has unlt vn t just bln a
and ohio state senator nina turner. thank you very much for joining me tonight. thank you, lawrence. coming up, the weirdest thing. the very, very weirdest thing that mitt romney said in his speech today. that s all i m going to say about it. stick around for the rewrite. and rush limbaugh is now in the business of attacking nuns. we ll find out how scared the nuns of rush limbaugh when sister simone joins me later. she s one of the nuns on a bus tour protesting the paul ryan budget plan. and lisaling will join us. she s done her own up-close report on american nuns. that s coming up. t team usa and show our olympic spirit right in our own backyard. so we combined our citi thankyou points to make it happen. tom chipped in 10,000 points. karen kicked in 20,000. and by pooling more thankyou points from folks all over town, we were able to watch team usa. for middle class americans and what governor romney won t do for middle class americans highlighting support for the paul ryan budget plan. neil: i am seeing a pattern maybe dating back to a couple of weeks ago when bill clinton praised the big experience of governor romney, and then mayor booker of new york saying the same thing. and they all had to walk it back a bit. but to a man and a lot of the others in the party, they are saying, you are going too far bashing and to the doing enough promoting or having a positive emergency. is that the idea? ing there is a split. you can see the clinton democrats versus the obama democrats the guys with clinton are splitting from what the obama guys are doing. but it is more fundamental. both of them have it wrong in some way, the memo is not optimistic. it talks about americans have to
profit, and eisenhower and the railways and that was not profitable, and not an investment of government. this is not a small point that if in fact, you know, we look at the bain record and the value is whether or not he created profit, romney is good at it. he just is, and ak chactually v good at making money, and making profits, but that isn t in fact what government is meant to be up to. and in the other question, you have the unique background and does that give you special policy insight? do you have an agenda that comes out of your experience in the private sector that is going to be different than anything that is on the table right now in national politics, and if you look at what romney is offering, he is offering that something that the republicans in congress are now offering and he has said that he wants to sign off on the paul ryan budget plan and he believes it is good for the country s future and it is irrelevant that he has a private sector background, because he wo
