Reporter the decision to open the new bay bridge over the Labor Day Weekend is expected to be formalized in a public vote tomorrow morning by these men, the heads of the bay area toll authority, caltrans, and the state transportation commission. The governor has already thrown his support behind the labor day opening after a federal report and a series of independent reviews deemed the new eastern span safe enough to open with a temporary fix of 32 busted bolts.
