Prior to the internet, local newspapers were the most reliable way for businesses to reach potential customers. The revenue that advertising provided allowed newspapers to employ journalists to report.
Those who remember when The Bulletin was The Norwich Bulletin may recall its managing editor from the halcyon days of the 1970s, John C. Peterson.
John passed away peacefully on March 18 in Branford .
