The city is taking extra measures to keep bus drivers and riders safe from contracting COVID-19.
Belleville Transit announced that it continues to bolster its pandemic safety protocols to ensure the safety of riders and drivers.

To achieve a safer environment on buses, transit drivers are now able to self-test three times per week with a 15-minute rapid test for COVID-19. The data is collected with no driver specific details and provided weekly to the Ministry of Health.

Winner of the Turner Prize in 2013, the artist represented France at the 58th Biennale of Venice (2019) with the pavilion DEEP SEE BLUE SURROUNDING YOU/VOIS CE BLEU PROFOND TE FONDRE, which is currently on show at LAM, after having traveled to Les Abattoirs, in 2020. Last year, Laure Prouvost also participated in the 22nd Biennale of Sidney.

Paul Buck, CEO and Founder of
Epic Risk Management, stated that he believes the betting industry is ‘on the right track’ with regards to responsible gambling.
In his interview with
SBC, Buck highlighted the ongoing review of the
2005 Gambling Act in the UK and the overhaul of regulations in the Netherlands as evidence that the industry is addressing concerns relating to gambling harm.
Epic’s CEO stated that ‘there is still more work to do, but (the industry) is definitely on the right track,’ adding that the sector long-term goal should be to generate ‘$0 or £0 from people who are suffering gambling problems’.

And yet, you’re still expected to bundle up and wait on a street corner for the bus. What if it’s the middle of the night? What if you need to change buses once, twice or more to get to work? Wouldn’t you rather buy a car instead?
Public transit almost everywhere has big problems with access and convenience. And the pandemic upped the stakes: The only thing worse than an empty bus that takes an extra hour to complete its route because it still waits at every single stop is an overfilled one where masked travellers cannot possibly maintain a healthy physical distance.
