Even our cool downs won t be that cool. A cold front will approach the region on tuesday. Ahead of that front southwest winds will warm us up into the upper 50s and the lower 60s. We will see increasing clouds and a slight chance for showers, mainly on the outer banks. But as the cold front crosses the region on wednesday, we do expect scattered showers.
