The fire started a little before 12 30. Firefighters showed up and had to deal with heavy smoke and flames. Once the fire was put out the firefighters searched the home and found a man right there in the front room of the 1st floor. He was pronounced dead. The key point here you have to have local smoke alarms and an escape plan. Right now, were not sure what the cause of the fire is. We do know this person had a working smoke alarm, they should have been able get out. R
