Officials reported that a second terrorist was killed in a clash with security forces on Wednesday in a remote area in the Rajouri district of Jammu & Kashmir. Tuesday s gunfire in the isolated Narla town claimed the lives of an army soldier, Kent, a six-year-old female labrador from the army s dog unit, as well as a suspected Pakistani terrorist.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to launch a national highway project here on Saturday, besides attending meetings on Left-wing extremism and disaster management at the state secretariat. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is also expected to attend the two back-to-back meetings at the state secretariat.
According to a statement from the chief minister's office, Patnaik has ordered to provide free medical treatment to the injured and wished them a speedy recovery
