Talking to TIMES NOW near Patna Buddha Smriti Park on Saturday, CPI(ML) Secretary-General Dipankar Bhattacharya asserted that nothing less than the annulment of the said agriculture-related laws would work. He said that the government must repeal the laws at the earliest. People have gathered here to show solidarity with the protesting farmers. Apparently jubilant by the reasonable turnout for the human chain, he later tweeted his gratitude.
Not mincing words, former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister, Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at Narendra Modi-led Central Government and said that the government’s evil designs have been exposed. The government is sending miscreants to tarnish the image of the farmers protesting around New Delhi, he alleged.
