Australia suffered a major injury scare on Friday as all-rounder Cameron Green copped a nasty blow on the head while bowling on Day 1 of the second tour match against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Green suffered a concussion and has been ruled out of the remainder of the day-night practice match for Australia A. He has been replaced in the Australia A team by young Pat Rowe.
Green, a potential test allrounder for Australia, had to be taken from the field for a concussion check after being hit on the head by a ball that Bumrah had just driven back down toward him.
