THE vice president of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo yesterday described the late son of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, Pastor Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye as a blessing to the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
Osinbajo said this in a tribute to the late Damilare which was read by Pastor in charge of Youth, Province 1, Pastor Bisi Akande.
The vice president said:”We are indeed grateful for your contribution to RCCG. He understood the time and urgency of reaching to the youths, he worked very hard with all passion. A true child of God, who demonstrated his love for God”, he said of the deceased who passed on his sleep on Tuesday night.

As the burial programme of the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dare Adeboye, commences today, the youths of the church as gone bald as a sign to show their last respect for the deceased.
The development, according to the youths of the church was to honour Pastor Dare Adeboye, who has been widely described as a ‘soldier’ as well as to appreciate his great impact on the development of the youth department of the church at large.

Contrary to the unconfirmed reports making rounds about the death of the third child and second son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Dare Adeboye, the church has stated that his death was not COVID-19 related.
The church noted that the 42-year-old cleric died in his sleep with no prior health issues.
The church, while confirming the incident in a statement released by its public relations office, said Dare Adeboye died on May 4, 2021, in his sleep on Wednesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
The statement reads in part: “It is with a deep and heartfelt sense of loss we announce the departure of our beloved son, brother, husband and father, Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye, who went to be with the Lord on the 4th of May, 2021.
