Pastor Ife Akindayomi, son of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) the late Pa Josiah Akindayomi, has shaved his head in honour of the late Dare Adeboye.
Dare died in his sleep last Tuesday in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. He was aged 42.
Youths and the young at heart in the RCCG have been taking turns to cut their hair to honour Dare who was the second son of the church’s general overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
Adeboye’s last son Leke on Monday evening shared a picture of Akindayomi joining in the ritual.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David Parish, Eket, Akwa Ibom State, on Sunday held a service of songs in honour of late Pastor Dare Adeboye
Dare, 42, passed on in his sleep on Tuesday in Eket, where he was a youth pastor.
One of our correspondents reported that the church edifice was filled to the brim, as members from various parishes of the RCCG within the Eket Local Government Area and other parts of the state and beyond turned out to pay their respect to the deceased.

As the burial programme of the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dare Adeboye, commences today, the youths of the church as gone bald as a sign to show their last respect for the deceased.
The development, according to the youths of the church was to honour Pastor Dare Adeboye, who has been widely described as a ‘soldier’ as well as to appreciate his great impact on the development of the youth department of the church at large.
