– Paso People’s Action's third annual school supply giveaway seeks community support for new backpack donations. Many elementary and middle school kids go without a backpack and we hope to supply at least 50 students with backpacks for the upcoming school year. "Just think of seeing a child's face light up when they receive a much-needed backpack for the school year," says Paso Robles teacher, Eva Arebalo.
– Downtown City Park was the Friday evening scene for the first Paso Pride event. Organized by the group, Little Gay Paso, families and friends turned out to celebrate with music, chalk art, rainbow ice cream floats, and cookies.

– Reacting to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Women's March SLO (WMSLO) rally scheduled for March 5 will include a call for solidarity with Ukraine. A portion of the funds raised will go to a Slovakia-based organization People in Need which has been actively involved with helping Ukraine since 2014, and which is currently helping those who are escaping the war and crossing the Slovakia-Ukraine border.
