Administrations decision to withdraw u. S. Troops from Northern Syria. Good afternoon, everyone. I want to welcome you all to todays meeting on u. S. Turkish relations, the shifting nature of two nato allies. I am currently the director of the International Security program at george mason university, and it is a great pleasure too preside over todays discussion on the topic that i i think is particularly compelling. So, in our topsyturvy world where we write love letters to authoritarians and publicly disparagee our allies, its kind of interesting to think where does the u. S. Turkey turkish relations in the spectrum from how we treat allies and authoritarians. It seems to fit into every category or maybe none coming and maybe we will figure ou out today how special is the case of u. S. Turkish relations. Its of course been a tumultuous relationship, one where the executive branch and congress dont always see eye to eye. Is it fundamentally a Security Partnership or do we have a stake
Faces as well. There is also going to be, it is clear, a lot of communications between the u. S. And chinese negotiators here in the upcoming weeks as President Trump said this could take three, four, five weeks, maybe until the apec conference middle of next month to get quoteunquote, papered. Earlier today i asked treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin what a mode rap might look like over the upcoming months and this was his response. The current plan there will be deputy level calls this week. Principal level calls next week between ambassador lighthizer and myself and the vice premier. Those are things that are planned. I wouldnt be surprised if there is deputy level meet national person. I think our expectation well meet with the vice premier in chile before the president s meet if there is any final issues. If we need to have inperson meetings more inperson meetings to get this done, obviously well do that. Reporter the details within phase one have yet to be produced. Mnuchin says the
About it and i think as a whole, as a community, as any community, if people just put a little effort, we could really help each other out. Thats how it should be. Thats what food is about basically. An organization that meets is the San Francisco knight ministry we work with tuesday and thursdays. By the power of your name i have faith to move mountains because i believe in jesus. I believe its helpful to offer food to people because as you know, theres so much homelessness in San Francisco and california and the United States. I really believe that food is important as well as our faith. The San Francisco knight ministry has been around for 54 years. The core of the ministry, a group of ordain ministers, we go out in the middle of the night every single night of the year, so for 54 years we have never missed a night. I know its difficult to believe maybe in the United States but a lot of our people will say this is the first meal theyve had in two days. I really believe it is a time
Services are going to be met. To be confidential but i dont have to worry about anyone looking at me or making me feel less a visit with a clinician come take anywhere from 10 minutes if you have a straightforward concern, to over an hour if something goes on that needs a little bit more help. We have some testing with you on site. So all of our samples we collect here. Including blood draws. We sent to the lab from here so people will need to go elsewhere to get their specimens collect. Then we have a few test we do run on site. So those would be pregnancy test, hiv rapid test, and hepatitis b rapid test. People get those results the same day of their visit. I think its important for transgender, gender neutral people to understand this is the most confidence, the most comfortable and the most knowledgeable place that you can come to. Onsite we have condoms as well as depoprovera which is also known as [inaudible] shot. We can prescribe other forms of contraception. Pills, a patch and
Teagarden. Weve been consistent in voicing our support at the r. P. D. Commission as well as the Commission Meeting on may 16. We believe adult nonresidents, flexible pricing will allow for more manageable traffic flow within the sites and in the surrounding neighborhoods. It also encourages attendance at nonpeak times that will result in a richer experience for all people who attend because there will be less congestion. We support the fee increase at japanese teagarden, the japanese teagarden is one of our historic gems and residents and visitors alike walk away stating that constantly. We fiscally sponsor two of the specialty gardens, japanese and the conservatory of flowers. The japanese teagarden is dedicated to raising funds for this renovation. We also feel flexible pricing and the maintenance fee will have long range effects and benefit the people that visit them. Thank you. Supervisor fewer thank you very much. Next speaker. Good morning.
