The new generation mayors and cities i am excited because we have mayors literally for weeks on the job just got started a mayors doing interesting things dealing with challenges during this challenging time with the pandemic and urban unrest and other challenges that flow from those things. I want to dive right in and hear from them and what they are doing for Public Policy and the future of our cities but let me do a quick round of introductions. The Prevention Services in particular qualified as essential services under health quarters. It was really an effort to clarify and provide clear guidance to the c. B. O. And other prevention providers in particular around how to provide services safely and develop resources for home testing, for example, options for people to minimize clinic visits and looking at low barrier approaches to delivering some of the services. Zoom doesnt work for everyone, but are there other ways to continue to provide services in a safeway. Next slide. And then off on policies side, there has been, when the shelter in place occurred, all the clinics closed due to activation many of the people were activated for covid response. And also in response to ensuring that staff are safely in these clinical settings. But as a shelter in place has been lifted, there is a need, in particular because of the Prevention Services that have been declining, to reopen and provide care for young people particularly and so

So, i did not specify it but depending on the discussion here with my colleagues, they feel it would be best serving. Its the super inten department is creating the task force, not lowell in and of itself. So, just president sanchez, i would be supportive of examining and evaluating the letter that i had read into the record including evaluating the culture. Sorry if im dragging this on. Since its made by the superintendent, would it ensure student representation is on this task force . Yes. Yes, is this dated in the amendment. It has including but not limited to students, families, educators, administrators and communitybased organizations. Students are first mentioned. So, to clarify, like, im just, theres a letter but im not clear on how specifically the staff is supposed to implement the task force based on a letter that was not written for this purpose.
