Huskies Softball Uses Long Ball & Great Pitching to Beat Panthers
Owatonna s Parris Hovden threw a one-hitter and the Huskies hit three homeruns to get a 4-0 win at Rochester Century Tuesday afternoon. Hovden fanned seven and walked two. Coach Jeremy Moran said, Parris had good control of her pitches tonight and did a really good job attacking the Century hitters.
The Huskies were limited to six hits, but made each one count, three of those six hits were big hits. Samantha Bogen started off our scoring with a solo home run in the fourth inning. Then in the fifth, (Katelyn) Bentz and (Ana) Laduke hit back-to-back home runs to give us a 4-0 lead.
