A set of bathrooms at Dankwardt Park will be getting an upgrade.
The restrooms near the playground and skate park at Dankwardt Park will be remodeled as a result of a contract the city council signed Monday night.
“This restroom has been in a deteriorating condition, with fixtures, layout, and interior conditions not meeting current park standards,” Development and Parks Director Eric Tysland explained.
In a memo he sent to Burlington City Council members, Tysland said the projects include some demolition but mostly interior modeling for two new restrooms and this remodeling does include new plumbing, heating and cooling systems and a new roof.
