The City of Laredo announced the exact details for Stage 3 of its reopening process on Wednesday night.
Laredo City Council approved Monday the future reopening of the area which was set to take place over the next few weeks.
The most recent reopenings belong to benches and barbeque pits as well as basketball courts which are immediately available. The city still recommends gathering in limited groups for the former. Meanwhile, basketball courts are now open but in a limited capacity.

DARIEN Despite the restrictions forced by the pandemic, Saturday was still a delicious day in Darien.
“Something Sweet on Tour” the Parks and Recreation Department’s annual dessert-fest took place amidst some drizzly weather Saturday afternoon for the fourth year.
Eight food establishments took part in the friendly “dessert war” each sharing an in-house specialty item. Patrons were able to purchase an advance ticket and then traveled around to the different locations to pick up their treat and later vote on what they felt was the best one.
