You look here, these Police Officers are directing traffic blocking off the area to make sure no one drives down constitution avenue en route to the washington monument. Fire and em s representative told us that he doesnt know if anyone was injured. Well, i have an update right now from the irs spokesperson, and he tolells me no one was injure. The road is undergoing a resurfacing project, which moved into its next phase this week.
The project is 15% complete, MoDOT Communications Specialist Scott C. Smith said.
Capital Paving, with the assistance of Parking Lot Maintenance and Boone Construction, is conducting the mill and overlay project from Blackfoot Road to Broadway Street daily from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Capital Paving is doing a majority of the overlay work, while Parking Lot Maintenance and Boone Construction are doing partial-depth and full-depth concrete repairs, respectively.
The project is broken down into three phases from Blackfoot to Broadway, Broadway to Providence and Providence to U.S. 63.
