Includes highway 29 at livermore road and east 2 etma mine road. Evacuation orders for the city of calistoga have been reduced to warnings. That allows thousands of people to return home. New aerial video just coming into the newsroom. It shows the burn scar out of Sonoma County. You can see firefighters were actually able to save all of these homes. About two hours ago evacuation orders were reduced to warnings south and north of oakmont with the exception east of fairfield drive. The fire has destroyed 64,000 acres in napa and sonoma counties. Evacuations continue in napa county, and now the clearer air may actually cause problems for firefighters. This morning napa valley got some of its beauty back. Didnt get quite as dry. So now weve got blue skies, the more active again. The visibilities increase, so that means the smoke layer isnt laying down on the fire. Any time we get a little bit more visibility, thatll allow more air flow. The fire does start to burn a little more actively.
