We are following some breaking news right now. Firefighters in Larimer County are trying to contain a 35acre wildfire. South of carter lake. The berthoud fire crew says there are evacuations off bennett and del rio. We have been looking at a home that the flames are very, very close to. We did have a shot of the home. If we could go back to that, of the fire of drop around the home. That stopped the fire line from spreading to that home. The good news is that home did look to be fine. 35 homes in that area do have voluntary evacuations. There is a Evacuation Center open at the Berthoud Community center. The good news is that its 15 contained. We will continue to follow this fire and give you as much information as possible. By private security guards who hit the streets this afternoon. This follows months of negative news reports that they just dont feel safe at the mall.
