Second dementia-friendly play coming Feb. 21

The second play in a three-part cycle promoting a dementia-friendly culture is coming virtually to Park Rapids.
Living at Home of the Park Rapids Area (LAH) will present a free, virtual performance of “In the Garden” at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 through Zoom. Tickets are available through Eventbrite at parkrapids-garden2021.eventbrite.com.
The play is Part 2 of a trilogy that makes up the Remember Project, a program funded in part by a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
“Steering into the Skid” returns for encore virtual performance
The Jan. 19 event aims to engage family members, caregivers, local businesses and the broader community in a conversation about dementia and share resources and strategies to navigate memory loss.

An encore virtual performance and discussion of The Remember Project’s “Steering into the Skid,” a one-act play about memory loss, will occur from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Jan. 19.
