The burglary happened at the new work jewelry center. A family run business on thornton avenue. New at 10 pm we talked to the owner and is here now with more Surveillance Video of the burglars in action. Reporter this business has been around since 1981. Valued in the community. Berkeley. Reporter hundreds of people are here at berkeleys Civic Center Park for a city sponsored rally. Were city leaders are telling their own personal immigration stories. I think about the fact that that couldve happened to my family, if they were a younger me. Reporter wong says she, her parents, and her two sisters came to the United States illegally from taiwan when she was only six years old.
