It was never going terribly over the speed limit, topping around 70 miles an hour driving through the north bay, eventually moving east. The driver avoided spike strips after several attempts by officers to stop that vehicle as it went from petaluma to oakland. The corolla bobbed and weaved through traffic until it finally stopped in fairfield near 680 by the Cordelia Junction.
