Police say they have arrested 20 of the 44 accused
Malappuram: A teenaged girl in Kerala s Malappuram has alleged that she was raped by 44 men including her relatives for three years.
Pandikad police in Malappuram district said they have filed 32 cases against 44 men and arrested 20 of them.
The 17-year-old survivor is at present in the protection of the Child Welfare Committee. During counselling sessions, she informed the authorities at Nirbhaya centre about the series of sexual abuses and molestation she had been exposed to.
