The court s decision overturns the trial court s order that cleared the way for Chadha s eviction. Chadha claimed that opposition voices were being deliberately targeted and that the cancellation of his allotment was an attempt to silence him. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat had opposed Chadha s petition against the trial court s decision. Chadha had originally been allotted a Type 6 bungalow, but requested a Type 7 accommodation.
