Institute of Health Visiting welcomes new executive director

A health visitor by background, Ms Morton has also held senior roles across national policy, 0-19 public health operational delivery and quality improvement, alongside teaching and research. Other previous roles saw Ms Morton work as a professional advisor for health visiting in the chief nursing directorate at the then Department of Health from 2014, and as the best start in life programme manager at Public Health England. After joining the iHV around two years ago, she was instrumental in delivering the institute’s evidence-based blueprint aimed to help rebuild health visiting services called Health Visiting in England: A Vision for the Future.
