Lets talk about the two confirmed tornadoes that did move through yesterday. Just outside of our viewing area in monmouth county. The first you see the radar return, i have frozen it to 7 21, the time of the report. An ef0 tornado, the lowest level ofato atortornado that is officially recognized. Winds near 75 miles per hour. Temperatures will climb there and throughout the area later today. A live look right now at radar shows that snow is moving into our area, and some of it may make it onto the ground. What were looking at right now is a little deceptive on your radar and satellite map, because a lot of this is not going to make it to the ground, although it does look like it. Remember, when were looking at radar, this is showing a picture up in the sky. Very cold, dry air is settled at the surface, so its not allowing a lot of this snow to make it to the ground. What i do expect is some may be able to see that. Lets talk about that, the ability to see some snow is with that potential. Some flakes making it to the surface.
