While some city leaders were seeking to end the summer Corn Palace gift shop agreement with the Chamber of Commerce when it expires in August, the Mitchell City Council will ultimately decide whether to approve the new proposed one-year agreement on Tuesday
The council previously discussed raising the fine for residents lacking a smart water meter in December 2021 as a way to encourage residents to install the meters.
Dustin Feistner’s application to get Speedy Taxi operating in the city once again comes roughly two years after the Mitchell City Council unanimously denied the taxi businesses license due to Feistner’s criminal history and allegations of dangerous driving habits and poor business practices.
