Recognized that it was simply morally wrong to take the taxpayer dollars of prolife americans and use it to fund that which they thought was morally objectionable. But now, democrat majorities in the congress have abandoned their commitment to the protections of the Hyde Amendment. Even President Biden has abandoned his longterm support for the Hyde Amendment and now supports taxpayer dollars for abortion all the way up to the moment of birth. First, in postroe america, we must send a deafening message to our leaders in washington d c thats we must save hyde and to defend the values of millions of prolife americans. [applause] also this administration has been busy when they are not legislating they are using the pen as the saying goes. Executive orders expanding access to abortion medications and even news today that the Administration May issue an executive order that declares a Public Health emergency and effort to overturn the dobbs decision.
