On Saturday, Aug. 26, members of the community gathered at the Pablo Center at the Confluence to celebrate the accomplishments of the first-ever international trip by local nonprofit Power of Perception (POP), a Black-founded mentoring program that supports African-American and biracial students.
“People are enjoying seeing a story about a family becoming whole again,” Eau Claire native Justin Johnson said in reference to his documentary Mom and Dad’s Nipple Factory. The film has the ability to elicit both laughter and tears.
